New look Hawks and Bulls to face Ampthill test

The Hawks and Bulls begin their preparations for the 2018/19 season on Saturday afternoon as they welcome National 1 outfit, Ampthill to Dry Leas. With the Bulls taking on Ampthill 2's at 1pm and the Hawks match kicking-off at 3pm, it promises to be an exciting afternoon of rugby.

Both games are free to watch for all supporters and will be a great opportunity to watch new signings, Sam Lunnon, Ross Parkin, Roddy Giles and Sam Randle in action for the first time.

Also featuring on Saturday afternoon will be a further new addition to the squad in the form of back row forward, Alex Bradley. Bradley who joins the Club from local rivals, Chinnor, was an ever-present member of their promotion winning squad last season. Bringing a wealth of experience with him, Bradley is an all-action forward with good hands and is a hard runner.

Joining him will be Archie Hancock (scrum-half) from Wharfedale, Andrew Stobbs (hooker) from Chinnor and Liam Goodison (back row) from Bracknell.
