The Club are also delighted to have chosen Nutrition X as its Official Sports Nutrition supplier for the upcoming season.
At Nutrition X, their team of sports nutrition experts will be working closely with the Strength and Conditioning coaches at Henley RFC to create tailored nutrition programmes for each of the players, incorporating their range of Informed-Sport accredited supplements to help maximise performances both on and off the pitch.
Products set to be used include Big Whey – their best-selling whey protein formula for fast-acting muscle recovery support – as well as our brand-new Blue Raspberry Xplode shots; perfect as a powerful energy booster before training or a big game.
We will also be taking advantage of their newly-launched sports nutrition consultancy services, with expert Danny Webber set to visit the club to deliver talks to the players tailored around specific performance nutrition strategies.
“We’re really excited to get things going with Henley Hawks and can’t wait to get to know the club and each of the players,” said James Markey, Managing Director at Nutrition X. “We’ll be visiting the club in person over the coming season, familiarising ourselves with the needs of the players in order to put together nutrition strategies alongside the S&C team that truly make a difference to performance. It’s great to have yet another Rugby Union team recognise the importance not only of quality supplements, but of education when it comes to nutrition, and we’re really excited to be a part of that.”
