Henley RFC are delighted to announce that their new changing rooms are officially open. The opening ceremony was on Friday, October 20th with new RFU Chief Executive, Steve Brown, Oxfordshire RFU Chairman, Chris Skaife and Tamara Taylor, England Women's World Cup finalist and ex-Henley player present.
We were also pleased to welcome representatives from Henley Town Council, John Stephens from Grundon Waste Management and South Oxfordshire District Council which included Mayor of Henley, Kellie Hinton and Chairman of SODC, Jeannette Matelot.
Chris Nixon, Chairman of Henley RFC said 'We are delighted that the second phase of our Clubhouse re-development is now completed. We would like to thank all parties who have contributed to the fundraising and all who have helped make such a superb facility a reality'.
The project was supported by SODC, RFU, Club Members and the Trust for Oxfordshire Environment (Toe2) with funding from Grundon Waste Management Ltd through the Landfill Communities Fund.
