Henley Rugby Club has strong links with Wasps, London Irish and London Welsh and thus those players who aspire to play professional rugby also have a very good pathway to the top of the English game. We continue to review both on and off the field activities to ensure a sustainable future. The key aspect of the playing side is to provide this pathway from Mini and Junior Rugby all the way to the Henley Hawks.

The aim of all playing sides is to play at the highest level possible and the variety of levels offered at HRFC provides an excellent opportunity for players of all standards to have an entry point into a structure of first class coaching provided by ex-Henley players throughout the club.

Henley Hawks Women have been established for 20 years and continue to be a prominent side in the Senior leagues. We have been in and out of the Premiership and currently play in the Championship South which is one below and are proudly the leading side in the Thames Valley.

Henley Hawks Minis, Juniors and Academy section is one of the largest in the country with over 400 members from U6 to U16. Started in 1970 by ex-Bath, Coventry and RAF player, David Naylor, with just one age group.

It's success has mirrored the successful growth of the club itself and now boasts a substantial fixture list against local clubs spread over Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.  The success of the club has attracted boys and girls from all over the local vicinity with members joining from approximately 20 local schools.  Successful County tournaments are a regular occurrence and often 30% of our age groups can boast of being County Champions.

Although winning is an intended outcome of our coaching philosophy we aim to create a fun, safe and supportive environment for all with rugby offered for all abilities. Our goal is to produce players for the senior teams in the club and our Colts XV through to the 1st XV is littered with players who started their careers in the M&J teams.

We have over 60 qualified coaches and a strong committee who are committed to administering the organisational and fundraising aspects of our section.
